Hyperballad


It is the driving on empty roads that does this to him, sends him to fantasy lands. Other people do it jogging or swimming or sitting on public transport; he does it drinving.

And he finds, weeks later, that he has developed another habit: he no longer follows the rythm of night and day, but sleeps when the urge takes him, catching a few hours at a time, here and there, be they light or dark.
